UMBC is very challenging and the curriculum can be really hard. It is not a party school.

The student body is very diverse and accepting. I see people from different background and ethnic groups. The community at UMBC I've found is really great. This school definitely has great academics. It is very expensive to live on campus. I wish that i had more financial aid.
