Community Residency/Practicum I

Provides an internship experience by working with persons with disabilities within the community setting by allowing the demonstration/implementation of factual knowledge and skills gained through coursework and hands-on experience. Implementing behavior intervention strategies and self-advocacy skills will show competence of this course and will be explored through weekly individual meetings with university faculty.
