School Health Pedagogy and Practicum
This course is designed to provide the student multiple opportunities to examine Health or Lifetime Wellness curriculum design, gain familiarity with instructional methodology and design as well as participate in supervised practicum. experience in the secondary health or lifetime wellness classroom. Students develop lesson plans according to the State of Tennessee standards for Lifetime Wellness using the EdTPA lesson plan model. Lesson/learning assessment is also included as a core component of this course.
