Introduction to Modern Astronomy

Studies of the solar system, stars, and galaxies; recent advances in astronomy and astrophysics; and quasars, pulsars, black holes, cosmological theories, space exploration; non-technical survey of the principles of optics, and atomic and nuclear physics as applied to astronomy.
