Language acquisition and development for college-level vocabulary, reading, writing, and research. Prepares students for academic coursework including critical and literary analysis of cultural perspectives including contributions and social experiences of under-represented ethnic or racial groups, essay writing, summary and paraphrasing, research papers, incorporation of academic sources, timed-writing, and revision editing.
