NYU is a school like no other! I love our location and all the opportunities you get living in New York City. I have had some less than ideal experiences with some professors and my dorming situation is not the best.

I love how diverse and prestigious NYU is. You meet so many amazing and unique people while living in an amazing city. While there are no popular football games or central campus, there is so much to explore in the city. I definitely recommend spending time in Washington Square Park. NYU offers a wide variety of classes and majors that are very interesting. The most unfortunate part of this university is its price, however there are scholarships and financial aid which assist a lot with tuition.

Overall I am very pleased with my decision to attend NYU. The energy stems mainly from the students and artists who appreciate Washington Square Park as a cultural hub of Greenwich Village, and is the closest thing I ever felt to a sense of general community (outside of clubs and small seminars) at NYU. I also found NYU's student body to be incredibly unique in that it is so diverse in terms of religious, racial and ethnic background, as well as nationality. I was bothered, however, by NYU’s lack of diversity of thought. Whether or not it actually existed, it was rarely manifested. It is no secret that NYU is a very liberal university, and while I consider myself a liberal, I was often disappointed in the dearth of actual dialogue to be had on political topics because everyone seemed to agree with each other.

Very great school, has been part of my dreams for a while. It is located in the vibrant city of New York City, and has plenty of opportunities to excel and become who you want to be.

NYU provides it's students with many resources and opportunities. If there's something you're interested in, you will find not only classes about it, but professors, students, clubs, organizations, and jobs. It's literally the best place to make connections and have a perfect social and work-life balance without the feeling of a bubble. If you want a community, it's here...if you don't..it's so easy to get away from the feeling of being trapped in college because ur in the heart of NYC. Academics are really challenging..more than i expected from NYU but I do enjoy it a lot.

NYU in of its self is a great academic school, love their courses and truly and can't wait to attend! The opportunity to meet other students through welcome week and the other events that was held. The professors in this institution so far seem to be very easy to talk to and very understandable.

NYU is a great school that challenges you. It also has an amazing MakerSpace that gives NYU students and faculty members the opportunity to create whatever they can think of.

I was just accepted with an amazing scholarship! The class size allows the professors to give very individual attention. On top of this New York City is a great place to live and study in. The classes are very challenging, but not in such a way that they are overly difficult. Student services are very expansive, easy to access and very helpful. The student health center is also extremely well staffed and truly invaluable. Online classes are also provided and they are truly easy to work through and the professors give classes that are easy to understand. The New York University website can at times be challenging to navigate, but this is mainly due to the high quality and quantity of information provided. All services I have had to deal with, those in charge were helpful and easy to work with to provide solutions to almost any problem.
