William & Mary is a unique school with a rich, fascinating history and a wide array of opportunities for work and study. The students that attend the college are of the highest character and I have already made so many great friendships. The diversity could be improved, however the college is taking positive steps towards making that goal of increased diversity a reality.

W&M has the history of Harvard, the prestige of Georgetown, the academics of Amherst, all at the price of VCU. Professors are approachable and clearly care about the students, research opportunities are abundant and easy to get involved in, and class sizes are small. The community is also amazing! Students are extremely tolerant and accepting, and I have had the privilege of becoming friends with an extremely diverse group of people. I would highly recommend William and Mary to anyone seeking a quality, although rigorous, education in an encouraging environment.

William & Mary is a great school for academics, personal relationships with faculty, and undergraduate research. While its facilities and administration leaves something to be wanting, its faculty and students make up for these setbacks and then some. The students at William & Mary engage regularly in questioning societal norms and participating in innovative research. Participation in extracurricular activities is not just expected; students are arguably over-involved. They cross many disciplines and interest areas.

William & Mary, in all honesty, has been an absolutely amazing experience to far! There are many things to do in Williamsburg, but also around campus, as well. It's a smaller school, which is great, and the majority of the professors try to get to know their students. It's fairly easy to get into undergraduate research here, which is great for future endeavors. The housing process is bad because they don't do a head count of everyone and have to deal with running out of housing/rooms. The course selection website is awful and constantly crashes when trying to register. Other than that, it's great.

It’s a wonderfully challenging school with caring professor and intelligent students. This school has its problems, but the students here are the most interesting, intelligent, and engaged people I have ever met.

William & Mary has a great academic reputation, and attending confirms this. The athletic department could treat it's athletes better. It seems like the athletic department does not care about a large portion of it's programs.

I love William and Mary's beautiful campus, the surrounding environment of downtown Williamsburg and friendly people. Everyone is so inviting, the professors are outstanding and eager to help students, and campus life is beautiful. This school is definitely all about academics and seeing their students succeed. Although they have numerous clubs and activities to be a part of, this is not a party school for those looking to cut loose on the weekends. Overall, I am very satisfied with my school of choice and would highly recommend to others who have a passion and drive for learning and being open minded to others!

I really love the campus, professors, and the size. At the beginning of my time at this school, I was awarded grant money and scholarships, which were taken away during my last year of study without explanation and without any drop in my grades or performance as a student. However, I can't say that I regret it. The professors and staff of the school care about their students and are committed to the liberal arts program. Students work hard yet enjoy one another and have fun. I miss it already.

Loved my experience at the College, not necessarily because of the school but because of the friends I made while I was there. The work is very hard and theres a ton of it, but thats what we all signed up here at an academically rigorous institution. Our sports teams are all around average or below, but the student body (however nerdy, or "TWAMPY") spends a good chunk of time at the gym (the rec.) I love it here, and specifically love the people; the utilities need some updating in the oldest college and university in America.

Best place to study as an undergraduate. The faculty are dedicated to make their students as prepared as they possibly could be. Additionally, student life is great on campus, there are many different organizations and clubs to get involved with.
