Vector and Tensor Analysis

Vector analysis, including coordinate bases, gradient, divergence and curl, Greens, Gauss and Stokes theorems. Tensor analysis, including the metric tensor, Christoffel symbols and Riemann curvature tensor. Applications will be drawn from differential geometry, continuum mechanics, electromagnetism, general relativity theory
