Maternal Child Pharmacology
This Vocational Nursing theory course will reinforce and emphasize the basic principles of pharmacology and calculations necessary for safe and effective medication administration. The primary focus is on the pharmacology content and variables that influence drug therapy when caring for the child bearing family and the pediatric patient. Utilization of the pharmacological principles from this course will occur in the maternal/child clinical lab course (VNRS B88L Maternal/Child Nursing Lab).
