Description: Orientation to Bakersfield College and post-secondary education in California. Survey of career and technical education programs in the field of industrial technology exploring career opportunities and discussing career evaluation. The course explores the options and techniques for creating a unique resume, discusses interview strategies, and includes development of a personal education plan. Other topics include self-evaluation, decision-making, goal setting, time and financial management. Satisfies the 0.5 unit educational planning requirement for graduation from Bakersfield College. Note: Elective credit only.
