This course builds upon the content from the first semester paramedic courses and introduces the basic concepts of shock, traumas/burns, environmental emergencies, geriatrics, abuse, home health/special needs, ambulance operations, weapons of mass destruction, Hazmat, bio terrorism, and the incident command system.
