Learning in Math and Science

This course provides an overview of how to support student learning in science and mathematics through participation in various activities and in diverse settings. Examines the projects and techniques used in science and math programs to motivate students to learn through inquiry and discovery. Identifies routine challenges students often have in learning science and math, and strategies that stimulate students intellectual curiosity. This course is designed for students interested in employment as educational paraprofessionals. Field trips may be required.
