Radiology, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic Imaging for Veterinary Technology

Course is intended to give the student a sound knowledge of the techniques used in physical imaging in veterinary medicine. Includes history, statutes, and regulations, positioning techniques, developing, and film and screen characteristics. Instruction includes knowledge for preparing patient for imaging (radidograph and ultrasonography), positioning patient for imaging, safety during imaging, processing images/radiographic film, and maintenance of imaging equipment.
