Small Animal Diseases

Presents knowledge of diseases in small domestic animals, including prevention and treatment programs. Includes instruction in physical diagnosis and discussion of tests and procedures needed for proper diagnosis that the technician uses to assist veterinarian. Also covers animal husbandry procedures relating to disease prevention. Disease entities to be taught include: mechanical, genetic, infectious, nutritional, endocrine, and metabolic conditions.
