Arrest and Control Techniques P.C. 832

Introduces methods and regulations used by peace officers regarding the powers of arrest, and laws of search and seizure. Students will engage in weaponless self defense and physical arrest activities. Course is designed to meet the requirements of California Penal Code section 832 (PC 832), which establishes a minimum mandatory standard of training for peace officers in the State of California. Meets the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) requirements.
