Biostatistical Computing

This course provides a broad foundation in modern biostatistical computing methods relevant to public health research. It prepares Ph.D. students with advanced computing skills for dissertation research. Topics include algorithms in matrix algebra, Newton Raphson, Fishers scoring, the EM algorithm, bootstrap, random number generation, Monte Carlo Markov Chain, and data augmentation.
