Introduction to 3D Modeling and Digital Fabrication

Introductory studio exploring the use of computer-aided design for the creation or art and design works. Introduces 3D modeling software such as 123D Design, Blender, and/or Rhino, as well as a series of fabrication methods. Projects emphasize the use of digital fabrication as a tool for realizing conceptually driven work in ceramics, fiber, and sculptural media. Six contact hours.
