Diagnosis & Management in Acute Care I

This course provides and in-depth analysis of adult-gerontology acute care. Emphasis is placed on differentiating signs and symptoms, formulating diagnoses, and developing culturally competent plans of care for acute, complex and/or critical health problems of critically ill adolescents and adults. The advanced practice nurse's role will be examined both as an individual practitioner and as a member of a collaborative healthcare team
