Diagnosis and Management of Psychiatric/Mental Health Conditions

This course will expand of the role and essentials to safe and effective practice for the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMH-NP). Global issues in mental health including access to care and delivery of mental health care within the United States healthcare system will be discussed. The role of the PMH-NP delivery of evidence-based, culturally competent care to persons with complex mental health needs and barriers to care are examined
