Diagnosis and Management in Psych/Mental Health: Group Psychotherapy and Care of Special Populations

This course will expand on the role and essentials to safe and effective practice for the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMH-NP). The role of the PMH-NP in the delivery of evidenced-based culturally competent care to persons with psychiatric mental health concerns in the areas of group therapy, mental health promotion/mental illness prevention, and selected psychotherapies will be examined
