Actuarial Models I

Theoretical basis of actuarial models and the application of those models to insurance and other financial risks. The following specific models are introduced: Contingent Payment Models, Survival Models, Frequency and Severity Models, Compound Distribution Models, Stochastic Process Models, Ruin Models. Together with its continuation, MATH 674, covers the material on the Examination 3 of the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society
