MATH 668

Linear Statistical Modeling

This course covers linear and related models including a discussion of fixed, mixed, and random effects models as well as regression and ANOVA models. The discussion will include estimation, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, model fitting, and model diagnostics. Violations of the assumptions of the linear model will be examined. Statistical software will be used frequently. A strong background in linear algebra is needed
