Lawyering Skills

All first year two semester courses must be completed in sequence except for extraordinary circumstances approved by the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. First-year legal writing course. Includes practical training and supervised instruction in the study and use of legal materials, legal research, preparation of legal documents, oral advocacy and other basic skills, including instruction and formative assessment in client counseling and collaboration.
