HSS 396

Lab Methods in Fitness Evaluation

Restricted to students admitted to the College of Education and Human Development. This course will provide hands-on experience with fitness and performance testing. It will cover health risk assessment, anthropometric measurements, and measurements of strength, flexibility, aerobic fitness, anaerobic capacity, and body composition. The course will also discuss how to create an appropriate testing battery and fitness testing for special populations. Students will learn to collect appropriate physiological data and be able to interpret it
