Representing Community in Literature, Drama, and Film

This writing intensive course examines several artistic genres that illustrate and interrogate notions of community. Communities may include family, utopias, military, or towns, and students will be required to identify and investigate a community of their choosing. Community In the classroom is crucial to the class, and students will assign homework to each other in addition to presenting their work in class. Restriction: Restricted to students in the University Honors and Leaders Program (UNHL).
