American Music, American Culture: Folk, Roots, and the Blues

Explores 20th-century American history, integrating a multiplicity of cultural perspectives, regional identities, and musical events and personalities. We will explore the relatively recent history of race relations in this country, as well as cultural policies and changemakers throughout the development of the modern music industry. Restriction: Restricted to students in the University Honors and Leaders Program (UNHL).
