PBHL 3020

Introduction to Environmental Health

This introductory survey course focuses on the human health implications of environmental exposures. Topics include pathways of exposure, toxicology, risk assessment, regulations, and policy development. Additionally, environmental equity, ethics, globalization, international perspectives, climate change, sustainability, and activism are considered. Note: Students will not earn credit for this course if they have already earned credit for PBHL 2020. Term offered: fall, spring.
