Photography: Theory and Criticism

Students investigate the historical texts of photographic criticism. Readings relate to photography as a fine art form, concentrating on 1970 to the present. Through discussions, readings and critical writing, students examine and appreciate the significance of photographic theory. Spring only. Restriction: All other students must be at sophomore-, junior-, or senior-level standing.
