Issues in Economic Development

This is a survey course in development economics intended to provide a basic understanding of the economies of developing nations. Topics include issues and policies in economic development, comparative economic growth, demographic change, poverty, inequality, and migration. This course is for non-economics majors & economics minors. Students may not receive credit if they take it after they have completed ECON 4770
