Introduction to Structural Materials

To learn the fundamental characteristics of structural materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and composites; to learn how to test structural materials in the laboratory; and to learn how to interpret test data for engineering applications. After completing this course, students are expected to understand the behavior of structural materials and establish necessary background for structural design courses
