Addresses current research problems in integrative biology and system biology by surveying the peer-reviewed literature. Particular attention will be paid to research topics that integrate multiple levels of biological organization and that investigate how properties of systems emerge from interactions of sub-units. Note: New students in the Integrative and Systems Biology PhD program will enroll in this course during their first year. Restriction: Restricted to degree-granting graduate programs.
