BIOL 4125

Molecular Biology Laboratory

Provides hands-on experiences in molecular biology and an appreciation for using the tools of molecular biology to study biological systems. Emphasis is placed on DNA cloning, PCR, mRNA and protein detection in the context of gene editing. Experimental design and the theories underlying the techniques are also discussed. Cross-listed with BIOL 5125. Term offered: spring.
