3D Modeling for Bioengineers

This course instills in the 3D modeling skills specific to the biomedical industry. Topics include computer aided design (CAD), medical imaging, image processing, patient specific image to three-dimensional (3D) model reconstruction, non-uniform rational b-spline (NURBS) surfaces, finite element and computational fluid dynamics (FEA/CFD) analyses and physical modeling using rapid prototyping. Restrictions: Matriculated CEDC students.
