Mathematical Theory of Statistics

(3:0)This course is intended for graduate students that need a solid background on statistical theory. This is a one-semester course in probability and mathematical statistics. Topics include: basic probability, random variables, transformations and expectations, distributions and important families thereof, multiple random variables, random samples, notions of convergence, and an overview of point estimates and hypothesis tests
