ENGWR 300

College Composition

This course emphasizes writing and includes reading, research, and critical thinking skills essential for successful completion of a college degree. It covers writing assignments, including expository and argumentative essays (6,000 words minimum for course) using MLA documentation and format. It also includes reading assignments selected from a variety of transfer-level texts of substantial length. This course is not open to students who have successfully completed ENGWR 480. (C-ID ENGL 100; Competency: Writing)
