Science Skills and Applications

This course offers individualized instructional modules designed to provide or improve skills in the various science courses. A partial list of skills may include the following: textbook comprehension, principles of learning and retention, note taking, annotating, discipline-based vocabulary, paraphrasing, reading graphics, test taking, spatial ability, proportionality, and problem solving. Registration is open through the ninth week of the semester. To begin the course any later than that week would not permit completion of course material. This course may be taken one time for credit and is graded Pass/No Pass.
