ART 380

Techniques in Metal Design

This course explores individual research and practice in small met- als working in two and three dimensional forms. The elements of metal design and form will be applied to small metals. Techniques may include casting, mold making, brazing, soldering, welding, and laminating. Students are required to purchase supplies needed for the course at a cost of between $100-200. One field trip to an art gallery or museum is required.
