Biblical Perspectives of Media and Culture

This course explores the theological, psychological, political, social, and economic impacts of media as they affect individual and collective lives. Students examine print, electronic, and film media from theoretical and critical perspectives and will be encouraged to develop a biblical response to those influences. Students will be aided in the construction of a personal philosophy of art and mass communication theory.
