Community Health Nursing

This course studies community and public health nursing in relation to disaster preparedness, epidemiology, culture and environment. The focus is on nursing care designed to prevent and/or reduce risk of disease and injury and promotion of health and wellness in diverse populations across the age spectrum. Clinical experiences are provided in community-based sites in a variety of settings.
