Pathophysiology

This course provides an advanced study of pathophysiology and symptomotology across the lifespan due to alteration in selected human biological systems. The focus is on alterations in physiologic function as manifestations of disease. Emphasis is on relating signs, symptoms and laboratory findings of common alterations and understanding nursing interventions to promote adaptation.
