Digital Video

This course is an introduction to film making through hands on experience with digital video camera and recording equipment. It is the aesthetic and technical study of video. The course utilizes lightweight cameras for location shoots, documentaries, news gathering and commercial presentations. Pre-production, storyboarding and post production video editing are stressed. Through activities with an emphasis on video editing, students learn to compose, edit, and create for all types of media production. Note: This course is offered at Delaware College of Art & Design (DCAD).
