Introduction to Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI)
This course is an introduction to the rapidly evolving use of professional music software and MIDI electronic instruments. Various music hardware options, including keyboards, synthesizers, samplers, computers and drum machines, will be explored. Through a series of MIDI projects, students learn to use music sequencing, notation, and CAI (computer-assisted instruction) software. (C-ID CMUS 100X)
