College Composition
This course emphasizes writing and includes reading, research, and critical thinking skills essential for successful completion of a college degree. Writing assignments include expository and argumentative essays (6,000 words minimum for course) using MLA documentation and format. Reading assignments include a variety of transfer-level texts of substantial length including one full-length literary work. (C-ID ENGL 100; Competency: Writing)
