ENGLT 340

World Literature I

This course involves a survey of significant masterpieces of Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance literature from the Hebrew Bible to John Milton's Paradise Lost. Students will analyze numerous works of literature, comparing ideas across time, place, and culture and making connections between different literary works and between different literary periods. (C-ID ENGL 140)
