The Child, the Family and the Community

This fundamental course examines socialization and developmental processes of the child within the family and the environmental influences on growth and development; including gender, peers, schooling, the media, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, language, and developmental differences. Community resources available to support family systems and dynamics will be examined. (C-ID CDEV 110)
