Design: Fundamentals

This is a studio course which covers the elements of art (line, shape, value, space, texture, and color) and principles of design (such as unity, variety, balance, movement, emphasis, proportion, and economy), and the application and historical references of these concepts to both fine and applied arts. The students are required to purchase art materials and tools needed for the course. (C-ID ARTS 100)
