Calculus for Biology and Medicine I

This course is an introduction to differential calculus and elementary differential equations via applications in biology and medicine. It covers limits, derivatives of polynomials, trigonometric and exponential functions, graphing, and applications of the derivative to biology and medicine. Topics include the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus and techniques of integration, including integral tables and numerical methods. (Competency: Mathematics (effective Summer 2018))
