Social Work with the Traumatized Child

This course will introduce the student to the Traumatized Child. The course is designed to help student identify and effectively assess children affected by stress, trauma and/or violence. A major emphasis will be the systemic framework in which the traumatized child lives. Students will obtain an understanding of how trauma effects the child's mental and social development. Fall
