Medical Social Work

A study of the U.S. medical delivery system in its various settings including hospitals, nursing homes and home health care. Particular attention is given to the role of social workers as they work with patients and their families in accessing and receiving medical care, and assist them with the social and cultural issues that may be related to that care.
