CJS 223

Criminal Law and Procedure

This course will cover the origins and development of substantive Constitutional Law (to include the Christian foundation of the Constitution an its framers) and case law in the United States justice system. Criminal responsibility and a thorough review of the Missouri Criminal Code. Due process of law as it relates to search and seizure, and the criminal justice system processes and procedures relevant to the investigation, arrest, and subsequent prosecution of criminal cases. Spring
